Ordering repeat prescriptions
Due to new guidelines by Bradford City Clinical Commissioning Group community pharmacists can no longer order your repeat medication.
For more information please read this information leaflet provided by the CCG.
The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- Handing in your repeat prescription counterfoil to reception.
- Filling in a prescription request form available at reception.
- Online, if you are registered with SystmOnline.
- Post to surgery with a stamped addressed envelope for its return.
These accounts show you all your repeat medicine and dosage and you can choose the ones you need.
We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone or email.

Collecting your prescription
Please note that it takes two working days for prescriptions to be processed. When you are ready to collect your prescription, please come to Reception for it after 5.00 pm.
Please note for request handed in before 12 pm your prescription will be ready within 48 hrs, any requests after 12 pm will be ready within 72 hrs.
For system online, please take into account, this is for your use and your login details should not be given to a third party as this gives access to your medical records.
If we suspect you have given your login details to a pharmacist your login will be revoked. We have an obligation as a GP practice to ensure your medical records are secure.
You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from. We call this nominating a pharmacy.
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time:
- on the app or website where you order repeat prescriptions
- at your GP practice
- at any pharmacy that accepts repeat prescriptions

If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.
The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
