Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a team of volunteer patients who work closely with Kensington Partnership to help shape and improve our services.
The group offers valuable insight into what matters most to our patients, provides honest feedback and helps us understand the impact of the decisions we make from the patient perspective
Through regular meetings, the PPG ensures the patient voice is heard, supports new ideas, and plays a key role in how we continue to develop. If you’re interested in making a difference and helping us improve care for our community, we’d love you to get involved.

This is your Surgery, you do have a voice and maybe you do have ideas that would benefit the surgery and other patients and may help in the day to day running and by joining the Patient Participation Group you will have a genuine opportunity to be heard.
Up until me joining the group I thought it was run by a quorum of people who were quite dictatorial but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The management here are open and very willing to listen to any ideas I have and if I’m able to improve anything at the surgery I’m sure it would benefit all of us.
I’d encourage anyone to join us if they can spare a couple of hours a month, so put your name down and have your voice heard (you even get a free cuppa & biscuits).
Who can join?
Any registered patient at Kensington Partnership is welcome to join – we welcome PPG members from all ages, backgrounds and experiences.
No special skills or training is required, just a genuine interest in improving patient services.
Why join the PPG?

We are exploring online & hybrid ways to hold PPG meetings also.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to attend every meeting?
No.
Whilst we appreciate other things may crop up from time to time and some PPG meetings might be missed, continued absences may mean removal from future PPG invites.
We are considering running hybrid PPG sessions in the future – which are held online as well as in person.
How much time is required?
As much as you are comfortable with.
We meet quarterly for a few hours with potential other events within the practice you may be interested in attending.
We are also exploring options to run hybrid & online sessions, for those who can’t attend in person along with options for “updates only” membership – where PPG updates & minutes are sent to you.
Do I need any qualifications or experience?
Just a commitment to service improvement and your time is all we ask.
We do not ask our PPG members to have certain skills or experience.
Can I use the PPG to complain about the practice?
No. We have specific procedures for making a complaint.
The PPG is constructive and collaborative – working on the GP practice as a whole, not specific issues.
